Our journey
It all began in the 1990s when a young Aivaras Stumbras found inspiration in his uncle, Algirdas Stumbras—a pioneer of Lithuania’s energy sector. This early exposure to the world of energy planted the seed for a future dedicated to renewable power.
With a clear vision in mind, the first steps toward wind park development were taken. What started as an idea began shaping into a reality, setting the course for a sustainable energy future.
INIKTI was officially established, marking the beginning of a company that would develop, build, and maintain renewable energy projects, ensuring a greener tomorrow.
Our ambitions reached new heights as we expanded into Germany and the Netherlands, entering international markets and bringing our expertise to a broader stage.
With a strong foundation in place, we made our way into Sweden and Norway, contributing to large-scale wind projects and reinforcing our role in the Scandinavian market.
Our expansion continued as we entered Finland, further establishing INIKTI as a trusted partner in the region’s growing renewable energy sector.
A major milestone was achieved with the 67 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines project in Tromsø, Norway, showcasing our expertise in large-scale wind farm development.
Despite global challenges, we made significant strides by entering Poland and expanding our projects in Germany, Norway, and Sweden—including contributing to the iconic Markbygden Wind Park in Sweden.
With new markets opening up, Belgium became the next step in our expansion, allowing us to further contribute to Europe’s energy transformation.
A remarkable year that saw INIKTI working on renewable energy projects in Germany, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Lithuania—solidifying our role in the European renewable energy sector.
- We completed the development of the two largest wind parks in the Baltic region.
- Successfully finished the Šilutė and Kelmė Wind Parks in Lithuania.
- Opened a new INIKTI office in Vilnius, marking a new chapter in our company’s journey.
- Entered the Australian market, expanding beyond Europe and taking our expertise to a new continent.
We proudly celebrated the completion of the Šakiai Wind Park in Lithuania, further strengthening the country's commitment to renewable energy.
Also in 2024, we began a new collaboration with Max Bögl—one of Germany’s leading infrastructure and technology groups—marking an exciting step forward in hybrid tower construction.
This year INIKTI also entered the Portuguese market, expanding our presence in Southern Europe and bringing our renewable energy expertise to yet another forward-looking nation
We expanded into a new market by launching operations in Ireland, continuing our mission to bring renewable energy solutions to more regions across Europe.
This year also marked a major internal milestone—INIKTI exceeded 100 employees, a testament to our continued growth, ambition, and the strength of our team.
