INIKTI comes from the Lithuanian word “įnikti”, meaning to start doing something with great dedication, focus, and enthusiasm — to fully immerse oneself in an activity. This perfectly reflects our passion for renewable energy. We don’t just work in this industry — we’re deeply invested in shaping its future.

Our Story

Where It All Began
This story starts in the 1990s, when teenager Aivaras Stumbras watched his uncle, Algirdas Stumbras, a pioneer in Lithuania’s energy sector, shape the future of power generation.

Algirdas Stumbras: A Legacy in Energy
Born in 1927 in Kaunas, Algirdas Stumbras devoted over five decades to energy. Starting in 1944 as an electrician at Kaunas Electrical Networks, he rose to key roles in Lithuania’s electrification. His work helped shape the national energy sector and left a lasting impression — especially on his nephew, Aivaras.
Algirdas Stumbras is known as the father of Lithuanian energy.

Aivaras Stumbras: Turning Legacy into Vision
Under his uncle’s mentorship, Aivaras embraced energy as more than a career — it became his calling. Inspired, he expanded his knowledge and, in 2012, founded INIKTI with a clear mission: to help lead the energy transition toward a greener, more resilient future.
