November statistics: wind proved it again

Wind energy continues to lead in Lithuania - November proved it again.

Over the first 11 months of 2025, Lithuania has already produced more electricity than during the whole of 2024, with wind power contributing the most to this growth.

In November alone, wind turbines generated 310.5 GWh, accounting for 55 % of national electricity generation. Wind was the leading power source, meeting around 28.1 % of Lithuania’s electricity demand.

Looking at the bigger picture, wind generation reached 3.34 TWh in the first 11 months of 2025, exceeding annual results from 2020-2023 - a strong year for wind, and an even brighter future ahead.
