
2025 Lithuania Renewable Energy Overview

From January to October 2025, prosumer numbers grew by 39.7k - about 4,743 new users each month.
In total, Lithuania has reached 163.7k prosumers.
Wind turbines generated 3.03 TWh of electricity over the year - more than in any previous four-year period.
Solar power plants added another 1.61 TWh, also reaching record levels.
Together, these two sources covered 49% of the country’s total electricity demand.
Lithuania’s installed capacity has now reached 5.4 GW:
– 2,936 MW from solar
– 2,467 MW from wind
This significantly strengthens the country’s energy resilience.
January-October 2025 shows steady growth - Lithuania is consistently expanding its green energy sector month by month. ????
