Hub Replacement Done – Turbine Back in Action!

The ENERCON E70 hub has been successfully replaced in Norway!  Replacing the entire hub in just a few days saved: Up to 2–3 weeks of turbine downtime Several days of crane rental costs Avoided additional labor and logistics costs for hub dismantling, bearing replacement, and reinstallation. Interesting fact: Replacing bearings separately would typically cost 20–30% more compared to a full hub swap when factoring in downtime, crane rental, labor, and risks. Quick swap = faster return to operation, lower costs, and less risk! Of course, there’s one small “detail” – you need to have a spare hub ready! (Not something every warehouse has lying around.)
