Lithuania's 2025 statistics

Renewables are taking a bigger share of energy production in 2025!

In 2025, wind capacity grew by 41.1%, adding 730 MW, while solar expanded by 49.1% (996 MW).

In 2025, almost as much electricity was produced as in 2021–2022 combined.

Together, solar and wind generated 5.48 TWh, covering about 46.6% of electricity demand – up from 38.5% in 2024. Wind supplied 32.6% (3.84 TWh), and solar 14% (1.64 TWh).

These numbers show how quickly renewable energy is becoming a core part of our electricity supply - and how more and more consumers are becoming energy producers themselves.
