Dismantling ≠ end of life.
When a wind turbine is dismantled, it does not necessarily mean its working life is over.

As older wind farms are repowered, existing turbines are replaced with newer, more powerful and more efficient technology. But many of the turbines being removed are still technically capable of operating for years.
That is why our first priority is to give them a second life.
When a turbine is suitable for reuse, we carefully dismantle it so it can be transported, reassembled and put back into operation at another site.  INIKTI teams have already helped wind turbines begin their second life in Germany, Scandinavia and even as far away as Australia.

And when the complete turbine can no longer be reused, individual components can still serve as spare parts, extending the operational life of other turbines. Only what cannot be reused moves on to recycling and material recovery.
“Repowering is not simply about replacing old technology with new. An important part of the process is finding ways to give already manufactured equipment a second life,” says Aivaras Stumbras, CEO of INIKTI.

Since 2016, INIKTI teams have dismantled more than 150 wind turbines.
