
Wind Leads for Third Month Straight
December marked a historic milestone for wind energy in Lithuania. Wind turbines produced a record-breaking 442.1 GWh of electricity, surpassing the previous record of 374.4 GWh, set in January 2024.
In December, wind turbines maintained their position as the primary source of electricity in Lithuania for the third month in a row. Wind-generated electricity accounted for 38.5% of the country's electricity consumption, the largest share among all production technologies and import sources.
