February 16 – Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania!

Today, we commemorate one of the most significant dates in Lithuanian history – February 16, 1918, when Lithuania’s Act of Independence was signed, laying the foundation for a free, sovereign, and strong nation.
Freedom was not given – it was fought for! Generations before us defended and nurtured our independence, and today, it is our responsibility to cherish, protect, and strengthen it for the future.
Let’s take pride in our history, value our freedom, and build a sustainable future together!
