Technological progress is bringing innovation to Lithuania!
Electricity storage devices promise an investment breakthrough in the sustainable energy sector. Both private and public market participants can now apply for state support for the installation of an electricity storage battery with a capacity of 4 MWh or more.
This means the excess electricity produced by our wind parks can be stored and used later. These storage devices will help balance the variability of wind generation, reduce energy production costs, ease the load on networks, and help avoid spikes in electricity prices.
The progress and rapid steps towards energy independence are truly encouraging.
